The killer aimed his weapon at the pregnant lawyer's rounded belly. He said "Bye-bye baby," and pulled the trigger. War veteran Jake Wolfe and his former military dog are targeted next. They must stop the assassin, or die trying. An action-packed thriller from beginning to end. Dead Lawyers Don’t Lie has been a #1 bestseller in Pulp Thrillers, and among the most popular books in Kindle Unlimited All-Stars.
Judging by the sound of the suppressed shot and the direction and angle that it appeared to have come from, Jake figured that the shooter was probably up in one of the trees. He used his camera to scan the woods, and he saw a brief flash of light as the sun reflected off the glass lens of a rifle scope. Then he saw the killer in a tree, aiming the rifle right at him.
Not good, not good at all.

This story was the bomb! I expected a thriller/suspense of course when I started this book, but there really is so much more there. It’s a love story, it’s a story of heartbreak, and it’s a story that includes a rollercoaster of emotions. The relationships between the characters were deep relationships, there was an intense bond made, they weren’t superficial or didn’t feel that way.
The author does a great job with his detail in his writing. He goes to great depths explaining what is going on, giving you a little back story, sometimes a lot of a back story, whichever is needed to set the scene properly. It’s easy to close your eyes and see what is going on as you read the words. He paints a very vivid picture for you as you read, even in some areas you might not like to see so clearly!
This story also brought out some serious anger in me, while reading about the lawyers that were picked to die. They were all despicable people and had such horrible lives. It also brought out the feel good emotions, the warmth, the love, the adoration these characters feel towards certain other characters. I think it was a well balanced story on the emotional side of things.
The suspense and thriller portion of this book really blew me away. It made you sit on the edge of your seat, or will make you sit up straighter, grip your book harder, and will prevent you from stopping. It kind of keeps you on the edge of a ledge per say trying to figure out just what’s going to happen.
I can absolutely recommend this book. It was a great read and was a refreshing story to make my mind do some work.
